SLO County Disaster Relief Fund for Haiti
In partnership with Barnett Cox & Associates and Mission Community Bank, United Way of SLO County has established an account so our local community can support the rebuilding and recovery efforts in Haiti. 100% of the funds collected will be forwarded to United Way Worldwide’s Disaster Relief Fund. United Way Worldwide members in the Caribbean region have mobilized their staff, volunteer leaders and resources in response to the January 12th 7.0 magnitude earthquake. Please support their efforts by making a contribution today. Gifts to the Fund support long-term recovery efforts to rebuild lives and infrastructure devastated by disaster and to address educational, financial and health-related challenges.
Contributions can be made by mail or in person. Mission Community Bank has branches in San Luis Obispo (581 Higuera Street), Paso Robles (1226 Park Street), Arroyo Grande (154 West Branch Street) and Santa Maria (1670 South Broadway). Barnett Cox and Associates has a collection center at its offices, 711 Tank Farm Road, Suite 210 in SLO. The United Way can also accept on-site cash and credit card contributions in person at 1288 Morro St. in downtown SLO, or by phone to 541-1234. Donors interested in contributing online or via text message can click here more information. All contributions should be designated to “Haitian Relief Fund.
