When you give to United Way of SLO County, a small part of your donation – by way of our membership dues – helps support advocacy efforts through United Ways of California and United Way Worldwide’s Public Policy staff. This helps ensure that our voices and opinions will be heard on important issues like strong public schools, adequate health care for children and funding for 211, a nationwide human services information and referral system.
