Community Impact Fund Grants

In addition to the programs United Way offers directly, through the Community Impact Fund we are able to provide grants to other local nonprofit organizations to help them do their good work better. This competitive grant process occurs annually each spring, awarding funds for a 12 month period. Programs located in and serving residents of SLO County in the areas of education, income and health are eligible. Volunteers from the community can get involved by volunteering to review the grant applications and make funding recommendations to the United Way Board of Directors.
