Agency Advisory Committee

United Way’s Agency Advisory Committee, currently co-chaired by Jesse Torrey, Coordinator of AmeriCorps and Service Learning at Cal Poly, and Grace McIntosh, Deputy Director of Community Action Partnership of SLO County, meets monthly to learn and share information about issues and activities affecting health and human service organizations in SLO County and the community at large. Meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month (except July and December) from 7:45 to 9:00 a.m. at Peoples’ Self-Help Housing (3533 Empleo St., San Luis Obispo; please park on the street). Everyone is welcome and United Way grant recipients are highly encouraged to attend. For more information or to confirm specific meeting times, please call the United Way office.
