Dinner at the Marre House 2018!

Guests enjoyed a Gourmet Fall-themed dinner created by celebrated  Blue Moon Over Avila resident chef Steve Lucero! 

Panoramic views and photo opportunities are plentiful!

The evening view will truly sparkle as you sip Chamisal Stainless Chardonnay and Opolo Sparkling Wine and savor passed hors-d'oeuvres.  Bob Vessely, a local civil and structural engineer and local historian of San Luis Bay will delight us with knowledgeable conversation about the area. We can discuss the history of the area over our gourmet dinner before we go back outside to capture the full moon rising. When the dessert sampler is served you will be seated inside for the private salon concert.  Entertainment will be provided by Jim Conroy.

Jim Conroy is a 30 yr. resident and working musician on the Central Coast.  During that time he has enjoyed popularity in many groups and as a solo artist.  He has a new CD entitled “Magical Door” about to be released, which is a celebration of those 30 years.  He has been nominated by New Times for Best Album of the Year, winner to be announced on November 2nd. He is comfortable singing in many styles and has an eclectic repertoire consisting of jazz, pop, country, gospel as well as original material. For seven years he was a member of SLO Vocal Arts Ensemble and traveled with them to the British Isles and British Columbia.  Currently, he is in the popular “Burning, Bad & Cool” vocal trio with Burning James.  He is the Cool part of the trio.  He also does solo work and has a new band called “The Rising Suns,” which specializes in mid-sixties material.  Another nickname Jim has is “The Voice.”
