Savings Ideas are Here Just in Time for Winter

Winter brings cooler weather and longer nights, which can mean people use more energy.

Working with our partner, Pacific Gas and Electric Company, we’re excited to share some easy ideas to help you manage your energy use and bills during these colder months.

1. Take PG&E’s Home Energy Checkup – it takes 5 minutes and tells you what’s using energy in your home – and gives you ideas to save.

2. Microwave and save – Reheating leftovers in a microwave takes less time and uses up to 80% less energy than a standard oven.

3. Reverse the direction of your ceiling fan in the winter. This will force warm air near the ceiling down into the living space. Bonus, it can help reduce heating costs!

You can find even more ways to save at pge.com/winter. Check it out today!
